Dawn Launcher is the official Aternos Minecraft launcher. It simplifies playing on your Aternos server and includes a range of features designed to improve your experience. One of those features lets you automatically start your server simply by joining it through Dawn Launcher. This article explains how that feature works and how to set it up.
The autostart feature
If you join any Aternos server using Dawn, the server will automatically start if it's offline. This automatic startup process ensures that you can quickly access your server without needing to manually power it on each time. However, please keep in mind that the time it takes for the server to fully start can vary. The duration depends largely on factors such as the size of your server world and the specific configurations you have applied. Larger servers with more complex setups may require additional time to initialize and become ready for gameplay.
Enable/disable autostart
You can easily enable or disable the autostart of your Aternos Minecraft server by adjusting the setting on our options page. Just navigate to the options page and look for the following option. You can also limit who can start your server through Dawn, e.g., only whitelisted players or OPs.
