Having trouble with your Nether or want to reset it for a fresh start? In this article, we’ll show you how to easily reset the Nether on your Aternos server.
Resetting the Nether will permanently delete all builds in that dimension. To avoid losing progress, create a backup of your server.

How to:
Vanilla + modded
Vanilla, modloaders (like Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Quilt, ...) and hybrid server software (like Arclight) save dimensions as subfolders of the main world folder. To reset the Nether, open your world files, and delete the 'DIM-1' folder. This should only be done while your server is offline.
Make sure to not accidentally delete 'DIM1' instead of 'DIM-1', since this would reset the End dimension instead of the Nether.
Plugin software
Bukkit-based server software like Spigot and Paper store all dimensions as separate worlds. To reset the Nether, delete 'world_nether' on the worlds page.
If the name of your main world is not 'world', delete '{name-of-main-world}_nether'.
