How mods on Hytale work
Mods on Hytale are server-side only, which means your players don't need to install anything on their client to join your modded server. The mods enhance your server experience with new content, mechanics, and features without requiring additional setup from your players.
Install mods from CurseForge
Aternos offers a wide selection of mods uploaded to CurseForge, the official modding platform for Hytale. Make sure your server is offline before installing mods.
You can easily install mods for Hytale from CurseForge by visiting our mods page and searching for your desired mod. Once you've found it, press Install and restart your server.
Upload mod files
Hytale also allows you to upload mod files directly to your server. You can upload .zip files mods through our Files page. Simply navigate to your server's Files page, upload the mod files to the /mods folder via drag and drop or by pressing the upload button, and restart your server to apply the changes.
