Install WorldEdit (Minecraft: Java Edition)

WorldEdit is a powerful in-game map editor that allows you to modify large areas of your Minecraft world quickly and efficiently. With selections, schematics, copy and paste, brushes, and much more, WorldEdit makes building and terraforming much easier. This guide will show you how to install WorldEdit on your Aternos Minecraft: Java Edition server.

To use WorldEdit, you first need to install server software that supports plugins. Aternos offers several options:

Select your preferred server software. PaperMC is recommended for the best performance. Choose the version that matches your Minecraft version, then click Install and wait for the installation to complete. Once finished, you'll be ready to add WorldEdit.

Install the WorldEdit plugin

To add WorldEdit to your server, follow the same process as you would for installing any other plugin. Go to the Plugins section in your Aternos server panel and search for "WorldEdit." Select the version of WorldEdit that matches your server's Minecraft version, then click the download button next to it. Wait for the installation to complete. You'll see a checkmark when it's done. You can also press the following button.

Start your server

After installing WorldEdit, return to your server’s main page and click Start to launch your server. Once the server begins starting, watch the Console for any error messages that may appear during startup. If everything runs smoothly, your server will be online with WorldEdit ready to use.
