Turn achievements back on (Minecraft: Bedrock Edition)

Achievements can be disabled in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition due to multiple reasons, like setting the world to creative mode. In this article, we'll show you how to easily re-enable your achievements on your Aternos server.

Why aren't my achievements working anymore?

Achievements can be disabled in Bedrock Edition for several reasons, such as:

  • The world was set to creative mode
  • Cheats were enabled
  • Certain experiments were activated
  • Specific addons were installed

Reactivate achievements

With the Aternos level.dat editor, you can easily reactivate your world achievements. First, stop your server, then click on the "Files" button on the worlds page. Next, click the level.dat file. Click here to access the level.dat file directly.

Afterward, disable the following options:

  • cheatsEnabled
  • commandsEnabled
  • hasBeenLoadedInCreative
CheatsEnabled, commandsEnabled, and hasBeenLoadedInCreative will be deactivated by clicking the toggle button.

Now, you also need to disable "Allow cheats" on the options page and set the game mode back to survival
