In this article, we'll show you how to duplicate your existing server on Aternos, creating an copy with all files, and worlds. This feature is useful for testing changes or running multiple versions of the same server.
This feature should not be used as a backup method. For creating backups, Aternos offers a dedicated backup feature. Learn more about how to use the backup feature in this article.
How to:
Step 1: Open the edit mode for servers
Access the server list by visiting the servers page.
After this, start the server edit mode by clicking the pencil icon next to the create button.
Step 2: Duplicate the server
Once in server edit mode, select the server you wish to duplicate by clicking the copy button next to the delete icon. You can then set a unique server address and message of the day (motd) for the duplicated server.

Please note that when duplicating a server, the following elements are not transferred:
